Natural History Museum information
.. Since then, the collection has been expanded to include more than 70 million specimens, ranging from tinier than ladybugs to a full-size blue whale skeleton. From the moment you set foot inside the Central Hall you really feel the weight of all that history: you are greeted by a Diplodocus skeleton, a 1300-year old sequoia and by an ivory Charles Darwin, approvingly overlooking the beautiful hall. Besides a T-rex skeleton, a wide variety of mounted animals, a rich section dedicated to the natural forces that shape our planet, and the high-tech Attenborough Studio, the museum hosts periodically changing expositions covering a wide range of topics.
