What is SEA LIFE Blackpool?

SEA LIFE Blackpool is one of the UK's most impressive aquaria. A day spent here is not just incredibly fun for the whole family, it is also an educative experience. You'll learn about the world's ecosystems and the preservation of species for future generations. You'll take a front row seat during one of many daily feeding sessions. During feeding time, the experts talk about the animals they are feeding. You'll find out the common misconceptions about sharks, learn more about them and hopefully reduce your fear of being eaten alive! Immerse yourself literally as you walk in the underwater tunnel and watch sharks swimming just inches overhead! But it's not just sharks that will float your boat. There are over 200 animals here, as diverse as seahorses, octopi and rays. At the Interactive Rockpool children (and their parents, too) learn how to hold a crab or touch an actual starfish. You'll be able to enjoy over 50 displays, including a reef exploration exhibit and a cleverly simulated rainforest environment. Looking at so much water can make you incredibly thirsty, so there are facilities to have a drink while the kids play in the soft play area or blow off steam in a game of Pirate Adventure Golf.
