What is SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth?

Besides being a very educative experience, a day at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth is incredibly fun for the whole family. Start the kids off at the shipwreck exhibit, where they'll try to spot the many kinds of tropical fish, look for eels in their hiding holes and learn a lot more about life on the reef from an expert who feeds the animals. Next stop is the interactive rockpool, where they can touch a starfish or learn how to hold a crab without getting nipped. Now, with increased appreciation for marine animals, it's time to move on to the Ocean Display. This big tank is home to some very impressive sharks: it has nurse, black tip, zebra, and bamboo sharks. During feeding time, a shark expert tells you a lot more about the individual animals, but also about the species' diet, conservation status, and of course some facts & figures. Don't miss George the giant see turtle: he lives among the sharks and has actually befriended some of them! Don't like sharks? There's plenty more to see here: there are African dwarf crocodiles, penguins, rays, seahorses and many other animals, too!
